Question 1

What is standard ukulele tuning?

Accepted Answer

Standard ukulele tuning is G-C-E-A (High G). The G string is tuned higher than the C string, which gives the ukulele its characteristic bright, re-entrant sound. Soprano, concert, and tenor ukuleles all use this tuning.

Question 2

What is the difference between High G and Low G ukulele tuning?

Accepted Answer

High G tuning (standard) uses a G string one octave higher than the C string, creating a bright, cheerful tone. Low G tuning replaces this with a lower G string, giving a wider, more guitar-like range and a fuller, warmer sound.

Question 3

How do I tune a baritone ukulele?

Accepted Answer

Question 4

Accepted Answer
